3 day school top driver Randy Oswald wins series entry

Bowmanville, Ont. - Ontario businessman Randy Oswald out drove the other 11 competitors during the Bridgestone Racing Academy's Grad Test Event to win a complimentary entry to the '07 Bridgestone F2000 Racing Series.

The best 2 students were selected from each 2006 3-day WWR race license school will win a FREE invitation to participate in the season's end "2006 Bridgestone Academy WWR Grad will Win a Racing Season Competition" test. This 1/2 day (3 session) test included only the top 12 drivers from the 2006 3-day license schools.

Lap times formed only a part of the selection process. Other items judged included; risk management, smoothness, accuracy, track learning, discipline and focus

It was no surprise to see Randy not only smoothly extract impressive speed from the car but also to strategically work traffic and display prudent risk management skills.

Craig Davies was very much in the running right until the very few last laps of the last judged session until youthful enthusiasm got the better of him as he spun out (his third indiscretion causing an expulsion form the results).
